Also referred to as Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) or Shared Ledger, is a technology that replicates, shares and synchronizes data across various geographical locations, institutions and/or sites, and which is accessible by multiple users. DLT eliminates the need of a central administrator and transactions are dictated by the multiple users.
